Principles for Implementing Policies for Youth Volunteers and Volunteer Youth
Article 4 of Decree 17/2021/ND-CP stipulates the principles for implementing policies for youth volunteers and youth volunteers as follows:
Ensure openness, transparency, promptness, and compliance with the law.
The Government of Vietnam and local authorities create conditions for the youth to participate in youth volunteer organizations and volunteer activities in accordance with the law.
The Government of Vietnam, local authorities, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, and youth organizations established under the law honor, commend, recognize, or propose competent authorities to reward youth volunteers with achievements in performing tasks; and youth volunteers with significant contributions to volunteer activities.
Agencies, organizations, and individuals are responsible before the law if they do not implement or improperly implement their responsibilities as prescribed in this Decree.
