Wounded Soldier Category 2/4: Are They Eligible for Covid-19 Support?
According to Resolution 68/NQ-CP in 2021 on policies supporting employees and employers facing difficulties due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the policies include:
Policy on reducing the contribution rate to the occupational accident and occupational disease insurance;
Policy on temporarily suspending contributions to the retirement and survivorship fund;
Policy on supporting vocational training to maintain employment for employees;
Policy on supporting employees who temporarily suspend labor contracts or take unpaid leave;
Policy on supporting employees who cease working;
Policy on supporting employees who terminate labor contracts;
Policy on supplementary support and children;
Support of meal allowance at a rate of 80,000 VND/person/day for individuals undergoing treatment for COVID-19 (F0), from April 27, 2021, to December 31, 2021, with support duration based on actual treatment time but not exceeding 45 days;
One-time support of 3,710,000 VND/person for artistic directors, actors, and artists holding professional titles of grade IV in public service providers engaged in performing arts;
Policy on supporting household businesses;
Policy on providing loans to pay wages for work suspension and wages for production recovery;
For workers without labor contracts (freelancers) and some other specific groups.
Thus, it can be seen that the 12 support policies above do not include provisions for specific support for retired officials or war invalids of level 2/4. Therefore, in this case, you are not eligible for support policies under Resolution 68. Besides, you will continue to receive monthly policies for war invalids of level 2/4.
