Sexual Harassment in the Workplace: What Behaviors are Included?

Which actions are considered sexual harassment in the workplace? Are there specific regulations outlined in Decree 145?

According to Clause 2, Article 84 of Decree 145/2020/ND-CP (Effective from February 01, 2021) stipulating sexual harassment in the workplace, includes:

- Physical behavior such as actions, gestures, contact, or impacts on the body of a sexual nature or sexual suggestion;

- Verbal sexual harassment includes direct speech, via phone, or electronic media containing sexual content or sexual suggestion;

- Non-verbal sexual harassment includes body language; displaying or describing visual materials about sex or related sexual activities directly or through electronic media.
