What are regulations on the branches of the Viet Nam Association for Medical Education?

Pursuant to Article 20 of the Regulations of the Viet Nam Association for Medical Education issued together with the Decision 728/QD-BNV in 2022 stipulating the branches of the Viet Nam Association for Medical Education as follows:

1. Depending on the needs and actual situation, the Association establishes branches. The branches are organizations without legal status, seal, or separate account. Medical education establishments with 5 or more official members will be form as a branch by the Association. The President and Vice President of the barch are designated or appointed by the Association's Standing Committee. The branch organizes regular activities every 6 months or organizes irregular activities as decided by the Association.

2. The branches are subject to the direction, guidance and inspection of the Association.

3. Duties and powers of the branches:

a) Respect and enforce the Association's Charter;

b) Participate in Association activities;

c) Organize the exchange of professional experience, regularly report the branches' activities to the Association;

d) Update the list of members managed by the branches and report to the Association;

d) To discuss and question the Association's activities;

e) To introduce representatives to run for election to the Association's Executive Committee;

g) To use part of the membership dues to serve activities at the branches according to the regulations of the Association's Executive Board, the remaining portion must be paid to the Association;

h) Perform other tasks according to the Association's regulations;

i) The Association's Standing Committee regulates the order, procedures and conditions for establishing the branches; Decide on the establishment of the branches according to the resolution of the Association's Executive Committee.

What are regulations on division and separation of the Viet Nam Association for Medical Education?

Pursuant to Article 21 of the Regulations of the Viet Nam Association for Medical Education issued together with the Decision 728/QD-BNV in 2022 stipulating division and separation of the Viet Nam Association for Medical Education as follows:

The division, separation; merger; consolidation; name change and dissolution of the Association shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of the Civil Code, the provisions of the law on associations, the resolution of the General Assembly and other relevant legal provisions.

What are regulations on finances and assets of the Viet Nam Association for Medical Education?

Pursuant to Article 22 of the Regulations of the Viet Nam Association for Medical Education issued together with the Decision 728/QD-BNV in 2022 stipulating finances and assets of the Viet Nam Association for Medical Education as follows:

1. Financial matters of the Association:

a) Sources of income of the Association:

- Membership fees, annual fees of members;

- Income from the activities of the Association in accordance with the law;

- Donations and support from organizations and individuals inside and outside the country in accordance with the law;

- State budget support (if any) for state-assigned tasks in accordance with the law;
Other legal income.

b) Expenditure of the Association:

- Expenses for activities to carry out the tasks of the Association;

- Expenses for carrying out state-assigned tasks (if any);

- Expenses for renting office space, purchasing work equipment;

- Expenses for implementing the regime and policies for those working at the Association in accordance with the regulations of the Executive Board of the Association in accordance with the provisions of the law;

- Awards and other expenses in accordance with the regulations of the Executive Board.

2. Property of the Association:

a) Property of the Association includes headquarters, equipment, and facilities for the activities of the Association. The property of the Association is formed from the Association's financial resources; donated by organizations and individuals inside and outside the country in accordance with the law;

b) The management and use of the Association's property is carried out in accordance with the provisions of civil law, relevant laws and the Regulations of the Association. For public property, it is implemented in accordance with the provisions of the law on the management and use of public property.
