What are other activities of the National Competition of Excellent Teachers in Pedagogy in Vietnam?

Pursuant to Article 18 of the National Competition of Excellent Teachers of Pedagogy issued with Decision 2777/QD-BGDDT in 2022 stipulating other activities of the National Competition as follows:

In addition to the activities of organizing the competition and evaluating the contents of the contest, the Organizing Committee may organize other activities to contribute to the achievement of the purpose of the Competition such as: Workshops, exhibitions, exchanges, arts, introduction of activities related to higher education and pedagogical colleges; These activities must comply with current provisions of law.

How to summarize, announce and report the results of the National Competition of Excellent Teachers of Pedagogy in Vietnam?

Pursuant to Article 19 of the National Competition of Excellent Teachers of Pedagogy issued with Decision 2777/QD-BGDDT in 2022 stipulating summarization, announcement and report of the results of National Competition as follows:

1. Competition summaries are held before the end of the Competition with the participation of the head leader or the leader of the team participating in the Competition and all participating lecturers.

2. Contest results are publicly announced at the Competition closing ceremony and sent in writing to agencies, units with delegations or teams participating in the Competition.

3. The report on the results of the Competition shall be made by the unit in charge of organizing the Contest and must be sent to the direct management agency at the higher level, the province or city directly under the Central Government where the head office of the organizing unit, the Ministry of Education and Training are located within 20 days from the end of the Competition.

a) The report includes the following main contents: Name of the Competition; Time and place of the Competition; Preparation; Specific results: the number of participating units, participating lecturers, the total number of lecturers and teams participating in the contest according to the content of the contest; General assessment of the results of the Competition; Conclusion and recommendations;

b) Attach to the report is a list of participating units; list of individuals recognized as excellent teachers in pedagogy; list of individuals and units that won high prizes at the Competition.

What are regulations on the funding sources for organizing the National Competition of Excellent Teachers of Pedagogy in Vietnam?

Pursuant to Article 20 of the National Competition of Excellent Teachers of Pedagogy issued with Decision 2777/QD-BGDDT in 2022 stipulating the funding sources for organizing the National Competition of Excellent Teachers of Pedagogy in Vietnam as follows:

1. Funding for the organization of the ContestCompetition shall be covered by the state budget in the annual educational expenditure plan assigned by the unit competent to organize the Competition and other lawful funding sources.

2. The agency competent to organize the Competition or the Organizing Committee of the Competition is allowed to mobilize other funding sources in accordance with the provisions of law to support the Contest budget.

3. Expenditure content, spending norms for activities of the Competition shall comply with current regulations.

How to reward and discipline national excellent teachers of pedagogy in Vietnam?

Pursuant to Article 21 of the National Competition of Excellent Teachers of Pedagogy issued with Decision 2777/QD-BGDDT in 2022 stipulating reward and discipline of national excellent teachers of pedagogy in Vietnam as follows:

1. Rewards

a) Lecturers who are recognized as excellent pedagogical lecturers of the Competition are granted certificates of excellent pedagogical skills at the national level;

b) Collectives and individuals that win the first prize at the contest are awarded certificates of merit from the Minister of Education and Training;

c) Award winning lecturers will be issued with a certificate of award at the Competition.

2. Discipline

a) Competitors who violate the Competition Rules, depending on the seriousness of their violations, will be handled in one of the following forms:

- Reprimand, continue to give the exam but lower the result of that exam one level or suspend the exam for that content;

- Warning and suspension of all exam content.

The deduction of points and downgrade of exam results shall be decided by the Head of the Jury Subcommittee. The suspension of the exam and the handling of the above-mentioned disciplinary forms shall be decided by the Head of the Jury. Violations are recorded and promptly reported to the Jury; in case the contestant does not sign the exam, all the judges of the subcommittee will sign and specify that the contestant does not sign;

b) Violators will be disciplined according to regulations decided by the Organizing Committee;

c) Violations outside the authority of the Organizing Committee will be handled in accordance with the law.
