Based on Clause 1, Article 7 of Circular 75/2013/TT-BTC providing detailed guidance on the lottery business issued by the Minister of Finance:
Traditional lottery tickets have the following denominations:
- 5,000 VND;- 10,000 VND;- 20,000 VND.
The issuance of traditional lottery tickets with a denomination of 20,000 VND is only allowed to be carried out a maximum of 04 (four) times during the Lunar New Year annually, based on the consensus of the Regional Lottery Council and with written approval from the Ministry of Finance.
Thus, the current highest denomination for traditional lottery tickets is 20,000 VND, and there is no denomination of 500,000 VND as mentioned above.
