Pursuant to Article 4 of the Operating Regulations of the Steering Committee implementing the Regulations on implementing democracy in the operations of the People's Procuracy issued together with Decision 51/QD-VKSTC in 2023 stipulates as follows:

Organizational structure of the Steering Committee

1. The Steering Committee is established by the decision of the Director of the Supreme People's Procuracy. The Steering Committee has a Head who is the Deputy Director of the Supreme People's Procuracy, a Deputy Head who is the Chief Inspector of the Supreme People's Procuracy and members including the Director of the Department of Personnel Organization and the Chief of the Procuracy Office. Supreme People's Procuracy, Director of the Department of Planning and Finance, representatives of professional units exercising the right to prosecute and supervise judicial activities.

2. Standing Steering Committee includes Head and Deputy Head.

3. Standing agency

The Inspectorate of the Supreme People's Procuracy is the standing agency of the Steering Committee. The standing agency of the Steering Committee assigns members of the Assisting Team of the Inspectorate of the Supreme People's Procuracy, directly assigned and managed by the Head of the Assisting Group under the direction of the Standing Steering Committee.

4. The Helping Team is established by the decision of the Head of the Steering Committee. The Assisting Group has a Head who is the Deputy Chief Inspector of the Supreme People's Procuracy, a Deputy Head and members proposed by the Deputy Head of the Steering Committee.

Thus, the Steering Committee for the implementation of "Regulations on implementing democracy in the operations of the People's Procuracy" was established by the decision of the Director of the Supreme People's Procuracy in Vietnam.

What are regulations on working regime of the Steering Committee according to the Regulations on implementing democracy in the operations of the People's Procuracy in Vietnam?

According to Article 13 of the Operating Regulations of the Steering Committee implementing the Regulations on implementing democracy in the operations of the People's Procuracy issued together with Decision 51/QD-VKSTC in 2023 regulating the working regime of the Committee. instructions as follows:

Working regime of the Steering Committee

1. The Steering Committee meets twice a year to give opinions on the Steering Committee's work program, inspection plan, 6-month preliminary report and annual summary report on the results of implementing democracy in activities of the People's Procuracy; Other reports by the Central Steering Committee; The Party Committee and the Director of the Supreme People's Procuracy requested. When necessary, extraordinary meetings can be held.

In case a meeting is not held, opinions can be requested in writing.

2. Documents for Steering Committee meetings are sent to members at least 3 days before the meeting for research and preparation for discussion at the meeting.

3. The Head or Deputy Head of the Steering Committee (when authorized) chairs and concludes the meeting of the Steering Committee. Members are responsible for providing opinions at the meeting; In case of absence, it must be reported and approved by the Head of the Steering Committee, and at the same time, comments must be sent (in writing) to the Steering Committee.

According to the above regulations in Vietnam, the working regime of the Steering Committee is prescribed as follows:

- The Steering Committee meets twice a year to give opinions on:

+ 6-month preliminary report and annual summary report on the results of implementing democracy in the activities of the People's Procuracy;

What are regulations on information and reporting regime of the Steering Committee in Vietnam?

In Article 14 of the Operational Regulations of the Steering Committee implementing the Regulations on implementing democracy in the operations of the People's Procuracy issued together with Decision 51/QD-VKSTC in 2023 regulating the information and reporting regime. The Steering Committee's report is as follows:

Information and reporting mode

Every 6 months and a year, the Steering Committee helps the Party Committee and the Chief Procurator of the Supreme People's Procuracy report on the results of implementing democracy in the People's Procuracy's operations to the Central Steering Committee. Six-month reports sent before June 15 every year; Annual reports sent before December 15 every year.

According to this Article, the Steering Committee helps the Party Committee and the Chief Procurator of the Supreme People's Procuracy to report on the results of implementing democracy in the People's Procuracy's operations to the Central Steering Committee on a regular basis every 6 months or a year in Vietnam.
