Article 13 of Circular 07/2022/TT-BNV stipulates the following:
1. Notification of the results of the examination for promotion of professional titles
The announcement of the results of the examination for promotion of professional titles of professional archivists shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of Clause 5, Article 40 of Decree No. 115/2020/ND-CP.
2. Notification of the results of the evaluation for promotion of professional titles
a) Within 15 days from the date of completing the review of the dossiers, the Committee for the Evaluation for Promotion of Professional Titles of Professional Archivists shall report to the head of the agency or unit that organizes the evaluation for promotion of professional titles of professional archivists for approval of the results of the evaluation for promotion and the list of successful archivists.
b) Within 5 working days from the date of the decision approving the results of the evaluation for promotion of professional titles, the Committee for the Evaluation for Promotion of Professional Titles of Professional Archivists shall be responsible for notifying the results of the evaluation and the list of successful archivists in writing to the agency or unit that sent the archivists to participate in the evaluation for promotion; and at the same time publicly on the website or portal of the agency or unit that organizes the evaluation for promotion of professional titles of professional archivists.

What are regulations on appointment of the professional title and salary when the probationary period of the professional title of professional archivists is completed in Vietnam?
Article 14 of Circular 07/2022/TT-BNV stipulates the following:
After completing the probationary period and meeting the requirements, the trainee shall be appointed to the professional title of professional archivists in accordance with the provisions of Article 24 of Decree No. 115/2020/ND-CP and assigned the salary according to Table 3. Salary table for professional and technical positions for civil servants in public service units issued together with Decree No. 204/2004/ND-CP dated December 14, 2004 of the Government on the salary regime for civil servants, public servants, and armed forces (hereinafter referred to as Table 3) as follows:
1. In case of appointment to the professional title of Junior Archivist
a) A civil servant appointed to the professional title of Junior Archivist, code V.01.02.03 with a medium vocational degree shall be assigned grade 1, coefficient 1.86 (civil servant type B);
b) A civil servant appointed to the professional title of Junior Archivist, code V.01.02.03 with a high vocational degree or higher shall be assigned grade 2, coefficient 2.06 (civil servant type B).
2. In case of appointment to the professional title of Archivist
a) A civil servant appointed to the professional title of Archivist, code V.01.02.02 with a bachelor's degree shall be assigned grade 1, coefficient 2.34 (civil servant type A1);
b) A civil servant appointed to the professional title of Archivist, code V.01.02.02 with a master's degree shall be assigned grade 2, coefficient 2.67 (civil servant type A1);
c) A civil servant appointed to the professional title of Archivist, code V.01.02.02 with a doctoral degree shall be assigned grade 3, coefficient 3.00 (civil servant type A1).
What are regulations on appointment of the professional title and salary when the applicant is successful in the examination or evaluation for promotion of the professional title of professional archivists in Vietnam?
Article 15 of Circular 07/2022/TT-BNV stipulates the following:
1. A civil servant who is successful in the examination or evaluation for promotion of professional titles of professional archivists shall be appointed to the professional title of professional archivists that he/she has applied for in accordance with the provisions of Article 42 of Decree No. 115/2020/ND-CP. The appointment shall be made by the agency or unit that employs the civil servant.
2. The salary of the civil servant who is successful in the examination or evaluation for promotion of professional titles of professional archivists shall be determined based on the professional title to which he/she is appointed and the educational level of the civil servant.
