Do Professional Soldiers Receive Preferential Policies in Renting Official Residences?

Based on Clause 3, Article 36 of the 2015 Law on Professional Soldiers, Defense Workers, and Public Defense Employees, the provisions are as follows:

- Professional soldiers, defense workers, and public defense employees are entitled to the following allowances:

+ Seniority allowance is calculated based on the current salary and the length of service in the active-duty military force as stipulated by law;

+ Allowances and subsidies similar to those for officials and public employees under the same working conditions;

+ Allowances and subsidies compatible with the specific nature of military activities.

- Professional soldiers, defense workers, and public defense employees are entitled to preferential support policies regarding social housing; renting official-duty houses as prescribed by law.
