Awarded "Medal for the Security of the Fatherland", how much money is rewarded?

"Medal for Homeland Security" is one of the types of Medals according to the Law on Emulation and Commendation 2003.

According to Article 74 of Decree No. 91/2017/ND-CP:

Individuals awarded various types of Medals, awarded Certificates and Medals, will be rewarded 1.5 times the statutory pay rate.

Currently, the statutory pay rate is 1,490,000 VND (Decree No. 38/2019/ND-CP).

Therefore, individuals awarded the "Medal for Homeland Security" will receive a Certificate, a Medal, and a reward of 1.5 x 1,490,000 = 2,235,000 VND.

Clause 2, Article 68 of this Decree also stipulates: The reward amount, after being multiplied by the statutory pay rate, is rounded up to the nearest ten thousand VND.

Therefore, the reward amount after rounding is 2,240,000 VND.
