What conditions must be met in recruitment examination for civil servants in the People's Procuracy in Vietnam?

In Article 15 of the Regulation on recruitment of civil servants of the People's Procuracy promulgated together with Decision 401/QD-VKSTC in 2021, there are regulations on determination of successful candidates in the recruitment examination for civil servants in the People's Procuracy as follows:

Determination of successful candidates

1. The successful candidate in the civil servant recruitment examination must fully satisfy the following conditions:

a) The result of the interview score in round 2 is 50 points or more;

b) Having a higher score of round 2 plus priority points specified in Clause 1, Article 8 of this Regulation (if any) is taken in order from highest to lowest within the recruitment quota of each job position.

2. In case there are 02 or more people with the same result of interview scores plus priority points specified in Clause 1, Article 8 of this Regulation (if any) in the final criterion to be recruited, the person with the highest score interview is higher than the candidate; if still undetermined, the head of the agency competent to recruit civil servants shall decide on the successful candidate.

3. Those who fail to be recruited in the civil servant recruitment examination are not entitled to reserve their selection results for the following recruitment periods.

Thus, the successful candidate in the People's Procuracy recruitment examination in Vietnam should meet the following conditions:

- Having the interview score in round 2 of 50 points or more;

- Having a score of round 2 plus a higher priority score taken in order from highest to lowest within the recruitment quota of each job position.

After a decision on recruitment of civil servants of People's Procuracy is issued in Vietnam, how long must recruited person come to receive the job?

Pursuant to Article 20 of the Regulation on recruitment of civil servants of the People's Procuracy promulgated together with Decision 401/QD-VKSTC in 2021 issued by the Supreme People's Procuracy as follows:

1. The Director General of the Personal and Training Department, the Chief Procurator of the Provincial People's Procuracy shall inspect and verify the person's profile, make recruitment decisions after obtaining the consent of the Institute at the Supreme People's Procuracy.

2. Within 30 days from the date of issuance of the recruitment decision, the recruited person must go to the job-receiving agency, unless the recruitment decision states another time limit; In case the recruited person cannot accept the job due to a good reason, he/she must make an application for extension. The extension shall not exceed 30 days from the end of the time limit stated in the recruitment decision.

3. In case the recruited person does not come to work after the time limit specified in Clause 3 of this Article, the Chief Procurator of the Supreme People's Procuracy of the recruitment place shall issue a decision to cancel the recruitment decision.

4. In case the successful candidate has the recruitment decision annulled as prescribed in Clause 4 of this Article, the Chief Procurator of the Supreme People's Procuracy shall decide to recruit the person with the lower recruitment results adjacent to the position to be recruited, if all the conditions as prescribed are satisfied.

5. Persons who are recruited by recruitment examination according to the provisions of Section 2, Chapter III of this Regulation, when submitting their application for admission, must have a commitment to work for 5 years or more at the unit being recruited. If the management and use unit violates this commitment, the Chief Procurator of the Supreme People's Procuracy shall consider the responsibility according to the provisions of Article 29 of this regulation; at the same time requesting the transfer of that civil servant to the right placecommitment to work.

According to this Article, within 30 days from the date of issuance of the recruitment decision, the recruited person must go to the job-receiving agency, unless the recruitment decision states a different time limit; in case the recruited person cannot come to accept the job for a good reason, he/she must make an application for extension in Vietnam.

The extension shall not exceed 30 days from the end of the time limit stated in the recruitment decision in Vietnam.

What is time limit for completing profile of successful candidates in civil service recruitment exam of the People's Procuracy in Vietnam?

Pursuant to Article 19 of the Regulation on recruitment of civil servants of the People's Procuracy promulgated together with Decision 401/QD-VKSTC in 2021 issued by the Supreme People's Procuracy as follows:

Within 30 days from the date of receiving the notification of the results of admission, the successful candidate must go to the agency where the civil servant recruitment is registered to complete the recruitment application. 

In case the successful candidate cannot come to complete the recruitment application for a good reason , he/she must make an application for extension and send it to the People's Procuracy of the person in need of recruitment before completing the application at the end of the time limit for completing the recruitment dossier, the extension shall not exceed 15 days from the date of expiration of the prescribed time limit for completing the recruitment dossier. Recruitment profile includes:

1. A curriculum vitae (according to the form) certified by the local authority where the applicant resides or the agency where the candidate is working for a period of 03 months up to the date of submitting the application for recruitment;

2. A copy of the birth certificate certified by a competent authority;

3. Copies of diplomas, certificates and academic results as required by the job position applied for, certified by a competent authority;

4. A health certificate issued by a competent health agency within 3 months, up to the date of submission of the recruitment application;

5. A copy of the certificate of identification of the priority subjects (if any) authenticated by a competent authority;

6. A written commitment to work at the unit being recruited for 5 years or more, for the case of recruitment examination according to Point b, Clause 2, Article 10 of this Regulation.

7. A criminal record issued by a competent authority;

Thus, within 30 days from the date of receiving the notification of the successful results, the successful candidate must go to the agency where the civil servant recruitment is registered to complete the recruitment application in Vietnam.

In case the successful candidate cannot come to complete the recruitment dossier for a reasonable reason, he/she must make an application for extension and send it to the People's Procuracy in need of recruitment before the deadline for completing the recruitment application, the extension period shall not exceed 15 days from the date of expiration of the time limit for completing the recruitment dossier as prescribed in Vietnam.
