Supplementing documents to approve the results of election of the chairman and vice chairman of the People's Committee

On December 16, 2021, the Government issued Decree 115/2021/ND-CP amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree 08/2016/ND-CP stipulating the number of vice chairmen of the People's Committee and the process, procedures for election, resignation, relief from duty, removal from office, transfer and dismissal of members of the People's Committee.

Accordingly, supplementing some documents in the application for approval of the results of the election of the chairman and vice-chairman of the People's Committee, including:

- A copy of the decision of the agency competent to approve the planning on the title of chairman or vice-chairman of the People's Committee of the person nominated for election for the first time;

- Conclusion on political standards as prescribed;

- A copy of the most recent decision on assignment, transfer, rotation and discipline of the officer (if any);

- Comment and evaluate cadres of the Party Committee according to the cadre management decentralization (within the last 3 years) of the Party Committee of the place of residence, branch, Party committee of the agency where they work (within 6 months);

- Copies of diplomas and certificates as required by standards for elected titles.

In case the employee has a diploma issued by a foreign educational institution, it must be recognized in Vietnam according to regulations;

- Health certificate from a competent medical facility (within 6 months).

Decree 115/2021/ND-CP takes effect from December 16, 2021.
