Subjects eligible for awarding Labor Order in Vietnam

amended Laws of Emulation and Commendation 2022 was approved at the 3rd Session, XV National Assembly of Vietnam.

According to Vietnam's Law, the subjects that are eligible to be awarded the Labor Order fall into the following categories:

- Individuals;

- Workers and farmers;

- Entrepreneurs, intellectuals, scientists;

- Group;

- Enterprises, other economic organizations;

- Individuals and collectives of Vietnamese residing abroad, foreigners, individuals and collectives.

The above subjects must meet certain criteria, such as:

- To well observe the guidelines of the Party, policies, and laws of the State;

- Having made exceptionally outstanding achievements in labor, work, production, business, study, scientific research, or other fields, having influence and setting a good example for Vietnam;

- Received the world's highest award;...

(Currently, the subjects who are awarded the Labor Medal in the categories include individuals and collectives.)

The Law on Emulation and Commendation 2022 takes effect from January 1, 2024 and replaces the Law on Emulation and Commendation 2003; Law on Emulation and Commendation amended 2005; Law on emulation and commendation amended in 2013.
