Note when implementing flexible enrollment scale/year of Intermediate College in Vietnam

General Department of Vocational Education issued Official Dispatch 1046/TCGDNN-PCTT on June 1, 2022, flexible guidelines on enrollment size/year. In particular, regulation 05 notes when implementing flexible enrollment scale/year in Vietnam.

Specifically, the establishment flexibly implements the enrollment scale/year as prescribed at Point d, Clause 4, Article 24 of Decree 143/2016/ND-CP when meeting the following requirements:

- Ensure flexibility of enrollment scale/year in Vietnam within the training sectors and trades granted by the competent authority in the certificate.

- Satisfying the conditions to ensure registration of vocational education activities as prescribed in Clauses 1 and 2, Article 14 of Decree 143/2016/ND-CP (amendments and supplements as prescribed in Decree 140/2016/ND-CP, Decree 15/2014/ND-CP, Decree 24/2022/ND-CP).

- Enrolment scale/year of industries and trades after flexibility must not exceed 10% of the total enrolment scale/year of industries and trades in the same group of industries and trades at each training location in Vietnam which is issued in the certificate.

- Enrolment size/year of the industry/profession is flexible but not implemented to continue to be flexible to other industries/occupations in Vietnam.

- The flexibility of enrollment scale/year among sectors, occupations and training levels in Vietnam is based on the training time of each training program according to each level to determine the enrollment scale/year after being flexible.
