Food expense support for children in quarantine due to COVID-19 in Vietnam

Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Vietnam issued Decision 623/QD-LDTBXH on support for children infected with COVID -19 and children who are in concentrated isolation to prevent and control the COVID-19 epidemic.

According to the Decision, food expense support for children infected with COVID-19 and children who have to be isolated in concentrated isolation to prevent and control the COVID-19 epidemic in Vietnam is implemented as follows:

Number of children supported in Vietnam: according to the list of children infected with COVID-19 and children having to be isolated in concentrated isolation to prevent and control the COVID-19 epidemic according to the decision of the competent authority from April 27, 2021 until the end of December 31, 2021.

Level of support: 80,000 VND/child/day (according to point b, clause 3, Article 1 of Vietnam's Resolution 16/NQ-CP dated February 8, 2021).

Funding source: Vietnam Children's Fund (campaign and accumulated in 2021).

Decision 623/QD-LDTBXH issued on May 29, 2021.
