06 key tasks of press agencies in the period 2021 – 2025 in Vietnam

Recently, the Prime Minister of Vietnam had Directive 09/CT-TTg on improving the efficiency of information and propaganda for essential political and information tasks of press agencies in the period 2021 – 2025.

According to this Directive, for the press agency to continue to perform well the information and propaganda for essential political and information tasks in the period 2021-2025, in Directive 09/CT-TTg, the Prime Minister of Vietnam has set out some tasks in the mind of the press agency in the period 2021 – 2025 as follows:

- Information and propaganda on the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State; the implementation of resolutions of the Party, the National Assembly and the Government of Vietnam; the leadership, direction and administration of Party committees, central and local authorities.

- Propaganda on ensuring national defense and security; protecting the ideological foundations of the Communist Party of Vietnam, fighting against wrong and hostile views.

- Propaganda on socio-economic development and solutions to overcome difficulties, promote socio-economic development of the country, sectors, sectors and localities.

- Propaganda on Vietnam's foreign affairs and international integration.

- Propaganda arouses the desire to develop a prosperous and happy country in Vietnam.

- Information and communication on environmental protection and food safety; prevention, fighting and overcoming natural disasters, hazards and epidemics for communities in Vietnam.
