Aviation increases frequency of many international routes

The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam has just decided to increase the frequency of international routes to Japan, Korea, Taipei (China) and Singapore.

In the announcement of the plan to operate regular international flights just sent to airlines, the Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam announced that the route to Japan, Korea, Taipei (China) and Singapore has increased to 14 flights/week. each side, divided among 4 operators: Vietnam Airlines, Vietjet Air, Bamboo Airways and Pacific Airlines.

Specifically, with Japan routes, Vietnam Airlines (VNA) operates 7 flights per week, Vietjet Air (VJA) 4 flights, Bamboo 2 flights, and Pacific Airlines 1 flight.

The frequency of the Korean route is VNA 7 flights, VJA 5 flights, the remaining 2 airlines 1 flight / airline...

The routes to Australia, Thailand, Cambodia and Laos will operate 10 flights/week. Particularly, routes to China and the US will operate 4 flights/week.

With routes from France, Germany, the UK and Russia, after obtaining the consent of the Ministry of Transport, the Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam will announce the plan to organize flights to this market.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam also requires airlines to plan to exploit flight routes, reporting on before January 20, 2022. In case any airline cannot organize flights as planned, they will be withdrawn and transferred to another airline to deploy.

Statistics from the Civil Aviation Administration show that about 140,000 people have a need to return home to celebrate Tet. It is forecasted that the number of passengers returning to Vietnam will exceed 30,000 passengers/week, including Vietnamese citizens, overseas Vietnamese and foreigners who are diplomats, public servants, experts, investors...

Currently, the Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam is promoting negotiations with aviation authorities of countries and territories that are implementing a plan to resume regular international flights (the plan) to agree on resumption of flights. regular international flights with Vietnam and increase the frequency of flights under suitable conditions to meet the needs of overseas Vietnamese on the occasion of the 2022 Lunar New Year.
