Training standards for grassroots cultural public employees in Vietnam are specified at Circular 03/2022/TT-BVHTTDL with many new points as follows:

1. Training standards for methodologists in Vietnam
- Training standards for class II and III methodologists:
+ Having a university degree or higher relevant to the field of grassroots culture;
+ Having a certificate of standard training for the professional title of methodologist.
- Training standards for class IV methodologists:
+ Having an intermediate or higher diploma relevant to the field of grassroots culture;
+ Having a certificate of standard training for the professional title of methodologist.
(Compared to Joint Circular 06/2016/TTLT-BVHTTDL-BNV, the requirement for foreign language proficiency certificates and computer science certificates has been removed for class II, III and IV methodologists)
2. Training standards for cultural guides in Vietnam
- QTraining standards for class II and III cultural guides:
+ Having a university degree or higher relevant to the field of grassroots culture;
+ Having a certificate of standard training for the title of cultural guide.
- Qualification standards for training and fostering class IV cultural guides:
+ Having an intermediate or higher diploma relevant to the field of grassroots culture;
+ Having a certificate of standard training for the title of cultural guide.
(Compared to Joint Circular 06/2016/TTLT-BVHTTDL-BNV, the requirement for certificates of foreign language proficiency and computer certificates has been removed for class II, III and IV cultural guides)
