Conditions for employees to be supported with 03 months of rent

The Prime Minister has just issued Decision 08/2022/QD-TTg stipulating the implementation of the rent support policy for employees. In particular, the conditions for employees to receive rent support are as follows:

1. For employees who are working and staying in accommodation from February 1, 2022 - June 30, 2022

According to Articles 4 and 5 of Decision 08/2022/QD-TTg , employees working in enterprises in industrial parks, export processing zones or key economic areas are supported 500,000 VND/person/month when available. meet the following conditions:

+ Renting, staying in motels during the period from February 1, 2022 to June 30, 2022.

+ Having an indefinite-term labor contract or a definite-term labor contract of 1 month or more signed and commenced before April 1, 2022.

+ Being participating in compulsory social insurance (named on the list of participating in compulsory social insurance of the social insurance agency) in the month immediately preceding the time the enterprise makes a list of employees requesting rent support. .

In case the employee is not eligible to participate in compulsory social insurance as prescribed in Clause 4, Article 2 of Decree No. 115/2015/ND-CP , his/her name must be on the salary payment list of the enterprise of the month immediately preceding the time of the enterprise. make a list of employees requesting rent support.

- Support period : Up to 3 months.

- Payment method : Monthly.

2. For employees who return to work and stay in accommodation from April 1, 2022 - June 30, 2022

According to Article 8, 9 of Decision 08/2022/QD-TTg , employees are working in enterprises, cooperatives, business households with business registration in industrial parks, export processing zones or economic zones. Key points are supported with 1,000,000 VND/person/month when the following conditions are fully met:

- Renting, staying in a motel during the period from April 1, 2022 to June 30, 2022.

- Having an indefinite-term labor contract or a definite-term labor contract of 1 month or more entered into and performed between April 1, 2022 and June 30, 2022. except for the labor contract entered into in the continuation of the labor contract signed and performed previously.

- Being participating in compulsory social insurance (named on the list of participating in compulsory social insurance of the social insurance agency) in the month immediately preceding the time the employer makes a list of employees requesting rent support.

In case the employee is not eligible to participate in compulsory social insurance as prescribed in Clause 4, Article 2 of Decree No. 115/2015/ND-CP , the employee is newly recruited and has entered into a labor contract but is not on the list of participants. A member of the compulsory social insurance agency of the social insurance agency must be included in the employer's salary list of the month preceding the time the employer makes a list of employees requesting rent support.

- Support period : Up to 3 months.

- Payment method : Monthly.

Note the support principle:

1. Ensure timely support, right subjects, publicity, transparency, not to take advantage of, take advantage of policies.

2. No support for employees who do not request support.

3. In case an employee works under a labor contract for more than one employer, he/she will be supported at the place where he/she participates in compulsory social insurance.

4. Each object is only supported once in 01 month and not more than 03 months.

Decision 08/2022/QD-TTg takes effect from March 28, 2022.
