Below is the working schedule of transportation units in Vietnam for Lunar New Year 2025:

According to Notification 6150/TB-BLDTBXH in 2024 regarding the Lunar New Year 2025 holiday schedule for employees not covered as officials and public employees, employees in state agencies, enterprises may choose the following Lunar New Year 2025 holiday plans:
1. Officials and public employees and employees in administrative, career services, political organizations, and socio-political organizations (hereinafter referred to as officials and public employees) are off for the Lunar New Year 2025 from Saturday, January 25, 2025, Gregorian calendar (i.e., 26th of Lunar December year of Giap Thin) until the end of Sunday, February 2, 2025, Gregorian calendar (i.e., 5th of Lunar January year of At Ty). This holiday includes 05 Lunar New Year days and 04 regular weekly days off.

7. For employees not covered by clause 1 of this Notification, employers decide on the Lunar New Year, Independence Day, Victory Day April 30, and International Labor Day May 1, 2025 holiday plans as follows:
- For the Lunar New Year holiday: choose 01 day at the end of the year of Giap Thin and 04 days at the beginning of the year of At Ty, or 02 days at the end of the year of Giap Thin and 03 days at the beginning of the year of At Ty, or 03 days at the end of the year of Giap Thin and 02 days at the beginning of the year of At Ty.
- For Independence Day holiday: Tuesday, September 2, 2025, Gregorian calendar and choose 01 of 02 days: Monday, September 1, 2025, or Wednesday, September 3, 2025, Gregorian calendar.
- Announce Lunar New Year and Independence Day holiday plans to employees at least 30 days before implementation.
- If a weekly day off coincides with the public holiday defined in clause 1, Article 112 of the Labor Code, employees are entitled to a substitute day off immediately following the next working day as stipulated in clause 3, Article 111 of the Labor Code.
- Encourage employers to apply the Lunar New Year, Independence Day, Victory Day April 30, and International Labor Day May 1, 2025 holiday schedules for employees in accordance with the rules for officials and public employees.
Thus, the Lunar New Year 2025 holiday schedule for shippers will be determined by the employer following one of the Lunar New Year holiday options as follows:
- 01 day at the end of the year of Giap Thin and 04 days at the beginning of the year of At Ty.
- 02 days at the end of the year of Giap Thin and 03 days at the beginning of the year of At Ty.
- 03 days at the end of the year of Giap Thin and 02 days at the beginning of the year of At Ty.
Depending on the working schedule of each transportation unit, shippers will have different Lunar New Year holiday schedules, with most transportation units taking a holiday from January 27, 2025 (28th of Lunar December year of Giap Thin) to February 2, 2025 (5th of Lunar January year of At Ty).
