Voting rules for the "Làn sóng xanh" Awards in 2024 are as follows:

The artist with the highest valid vote count will receive the titles of Favorite Male Singer/Rapper and Favorite Female Singer/Rapper.

Voting Criteria:

- Singers with songs in the Top 10 of the weekly Green Wave Chart (LSX).

- Singers with a positive image, not violating the law and Vietnamese customs and traditions.

- In case of any negative issues arising during the voting process, the organizers reserve the right to make the final decision on the award results.

Voting Method:

Each account can vote for multiple nominations. Each nomination can only be voted on once with a fee (2000 VND/vote).

Round 1: From December 10, 2024, to December 17, 2024.

The voting list includes all Male/Female singers with songs in the weekly Green Wave Chart, from January 5, 2024, to December 13, 2024.

Round 2: From December 18, 2024, to December 25, 2024.

The voting list is the Top 10 Male Singers and Top 10 Female Singers with the highest votes from Round 1.

Round 3: From December 26, 2024, to December 31, 2024.

The voting list is the Top 5 Male Singers and Top 5 Female Singers with the highest votes from Round 2.

The voting portal will close at 24:00 on December 31, 2024.

Results will be announced at the "Làn sóng xanh" Awards in 2024 Ceremony, taking place on January 15, 2025, at Nhà Thi Đấu Nguyễn Du, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.

What are the principles for awarding the title of People's Artist in Vietnam?

According to the provisions of Article 4 of Decree 61/2024/ND-CP, the awarding of the People's Artist title is conducted according to the provisions of points a, b, c, clause 2, Article 5 of the Law on Emulation and Commendation 2022. To be specific:

- The award of the People's Artist title must be accurate, public, transparent, fair, and prompt;

- The award of the People's Artist title must ensure consistency between the form, the awardee, and the achievements obtained;

- One award can be given multiple times to an awardee; multiple awards for the same achievement should not be given; recognition should meet the level of achievement.

Councils at all levels may only submit cases that meet the conditions, standards, procedures, and dossiers to the competent higher authorities for consideration.

Additionally, the People's Artist title is not awarded to co-authors of musical or photographic works.

According to the provisions of Article 4 of Decree 144/2020/ND-CP regarding the rights and responsibilities of organizations and individuals organizing artistic performances:

(1) Organizations and individuals organizing artistic performances have the right to:

- Organize artistic performances in accordance with the law;

- Enjoy lawful benefits from organizing artistic performances.

(2) Organizations and individuals organizing artistic performances are responsible for:

- Complying with the provisions of Article 3 Decree 144/2020/ND-CP and other related legal provisions;

- Implementing what has been announced; content approved or accepted by the competent state authorities according to regulations in Decree 144/2020/ND-CP;

- Ensuring that activities have content appropriate to traditional culture; suitable for age, gender according to legal provisions; in the case of organizing for children, comply with the legal provisions on child protection;

- Implementing legal provisions on copyright and related rights;

- Revoking titles and awards given to organizations or individuals according to the provisions of Article 18 Decree 144/2020/ND-CP;

- Not utilizing performers during the period they are suspended from artistic performances;

- Not utilizing revoked, canceled titles, awards, or titles as stipulated in clause 4, Article 20 Decree 144/2020/ND-CP in artistic performance activities;

- Stopping or changing the timing, location, and plan of artistic performances as required by competent state authorities.
