- Organizing activities to propagate the commemorative event under the theme "Building a politically strong, disciplined, compact, modern Vietnam People's Army," strengthening the protection of the Party's ideological foundation, and countering erroneous and hostile views against the Party, State, and Army.

- Organizing competitions to enhance understanding of the historical traditions of the event; competitions for propagandists, literary and artistic works, and media promotion; conducting press conferences to guide propaganda and training of reporters; compiling, publishing, and distributing documents and publications. Building documentaries, television programs, cartoons for children, and multilingual radio programs for ethnic communities to disseminate information to the people.

- Launching and organizing special movements and campaigns associated with promoting the patriotic emulation movement to achieve achievements in celebrating the event and successfully fulfilling economic, social development, national defense, and security tasks. Organizing commendations for collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in training, readiness for combat, and contributions to the construction of the military, strengthening national defense, and safeguarding the Fatherland.

- Building on the significant achievements made over the past 80 years, the Vietnam People's Army continues to develop in a revolutionary, regular, and sophisticated manner, gradually modernizing.
