Hello, Lawnet would like to answer as follows
ATM card number (or bank card number) is a series of 16 or 19 numbers displayed on the card surface, in which each group of numbers will indicate different information. Specifically, the ATM card number will have the following structure:
- First 4 digits: Is the code assigned by the State
- The next 2 digits: Is the bank code of the card issuer
- The next 4 digits: Is the CIF code to identify customer information records.
- The remaining digits: Are randomly assigned codes for customers.
Through ATM card numbers, banks can distinguish between ATM cards on the same system to manage customer transactions more clearly and effectively.
