(5) Population and Reproductive Health Sector

- Ministry of Health coordinates with Provincial or City People's Committees on establishing two regional prenatal and neonatal screening and diagnostic centers in the Northern Midland and Mountainous Region (at A Thai Nguyen Hospital), and Central Highlands (at Regional General Hospital in the Central Highlands).

- Investment in upgrading 06 prenatal and neonatal screening centers:

+ 02 centers managed by the Ministry of Health at the Central Institute of Obstetrics and Gynecology, National Pediatric Hospital;

+ Ministry of Health coordinates with Provincial or City People's Committees for 04 centers: North Central Coast and Central Coastal Region (Maternal and Child Hospital Nghe An and Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital), Southeast Region (Tu Du Hospital), and Mekong Delta (Can Tho Maternity Hospital).

- Investment in building a geriatrics hospital in Can Tho.
