The latest procedures for school transfer for children studying in primary school are as follows:

Applying for a school transfer can be done in person, by post, or online on the Public Service Portal (if any);
Within no more than 03 working days from the date of receipt of the application, the principal of the school where the transferee is moving must agree to accept the student into the application; In case of disagreement, the reason must be clearly stated in the application and returned to the student's parents or guardian in the form in which the application was received.
Step 2: Submit a school transfer application at the place of transfer
According to the provisions of Clause 1, Article 36 of the Charter of Primary Schools issued with Circular 28/2020/TT-BGDDT, when receiving consent from the moving place, the student's parents or guardians send a transfer application to the school where they are moving.
