In Vietnam, which month is Youth Month this year?
Under Article 9 of the Youth Law 2020, Youth Month is stipulated as follows:
Youth Month
1. March every year shall be the Youth Month. The Youth Month shall aim to enhance the pioneering, volunteer and creative spirit of the youth for the interest of the community and the society and encourage organizations and individuals to invest in the youth.
2. Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union shall take charge and cooperate with relevant regulatory bodies, organizations and individuals in organizing Youth Month activities.
3. The Government and local governments at all levels shall provide mechanisms, policies and resources for the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union at the same level to organize Youth Month activities. Heads of regulatory bodies and organizations shall enable the youth to participate in Youth Month activities.
Therefore, according to the above regulation, Youth Month is March every year.
Thus, Youth Month of 2025 will also fall in March.

What is the grade whose students are eligible for joining the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union?
According to Clause 2, Article 1 of the Charter of the Ho Chi Minh Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, 2022:
1. A member of the Ho Chi Minh Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union is an advanced Vietnamese youth striving for the goals and ideals of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President Ho Chi Minh, possessing patriotism and national pride; living a healthy, thrifty, honest life; being active, exemplary in learning, working, social activities, and national defense closely connected with young people; strictly complying with the laws of the State and the Charter of the Ho Chi Minh Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.
2. Vietnamese youth aged 16 to 30, actively learning, working, and defending the country, who learn about and approve of the Ho Chi Minh Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union's Charter, voluntarily engage in an organization of the Ho Chi Minh Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, with clear backgrounds, can be considered for admission to the Ho Chi Minh Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.

According to the provisions in Clause 1, Article 28 of the Education Law 2019:
Educational levels and entry ages
1. Educational levels and age groups of general education are regulated as follows:
a) Primary education lasts for 05 school years, from the first to the fifth grade. The entry age for the first grade is 06;
b) Lower secondary education lasts for 04 school years, from the sixth to the ninth grade. Students must complete the primary educational programme before entering the sixth grade. The entry age for the sixth grade is 11;
c) Upper secondary education lasts for 03 school years, from the tenth to the twelfth grade. Students must complete the lower secondary educational programme before entering the tenth grade. The entry age for the tenth grade is 15;

Thus, individuals aged 16 to 30 can be admitted to the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.
11th-grade students will be 16 years old if not involved in cases of retaining a grade, skipping a grade, or studying at an age older than the regulatory age.
Therefore, students from grade 11 are eligible to join the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.
However, some units may consider earlier admissions based on emulation results.
What are the learning and scientific research policies for youth in Vietnam?
Under Article 16 of the Youth Law 2020, the learning and scientific research policies for youth are as follows:
- Ensure equality in access to education and enable the youth to participate in scientific research.
- Promulgate and ensure implementation of programs educating on national moral values, ideals and traditions, civilized lifestyle, life skills and regulatory compliance for the youth.
- Provide policies on credit, scholarships and tuition exemption and reduction for the youth according to regulations of laws.
- Enable the youth to learn, enhance their professional qualifications; creativity and ability to research and apply scientific and technological advances.
- Provide incentives and assistance for organizations and individuals to invest in scientific research and innovation activities by the youth; participate in equipping the youth with life skills and other necessary skills.
