What are duties of 12th grade students in the educational environment in Vietnam?

According to Article 34 of the Charter for Secondary Schools, High Schools, and Schools with Multiple Levels issued with Circular 32/2020/TT-BGDDT, 12th grade students have the following duties in the educational environment:

- Performing tasks of studying and training according to the school's educational program and plan.

- Respecting parents, staff, teachers, employees of the school, and elders; uniting and helping each other in studying and training; complying with the school's rules and regulations; obeying the state's laws.

- Training the body, maintaining personal hygiene.

- Participating in collective activities of the school, class, the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer organization, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union; helping family, participating in labor, and social activities, protecting the environment, and adhering to traffic safety order.

- Maintaining, protecting school and public property; contributing to the construction, protection, and promotion of the school's traditions.

Additionally, 12th grade students are entitled to certain rights, including: (Article 35 of the Charter for Secondary Schools, High Schools, and Schools with Multiple Levels issued with Circular 32/2020/TT-BGDDT):

- Equal access to comprehensive education, guaranteed conditions for time, facilities, hygiene, and safety to study in class and self-study at home, receiving information about their studies and training, using facilities, and equipment for educational, cultural, and sports activities organized by the school.

- Respect and protection, democratic and equal treatment, the right to appeal decisions affecting them to the school and educational management authorities; the right to transfer schools for valid reasons as per current regulations; the right to early graduation, grade acceleration, or exceeding age limits set by Articles 33 and 35 of the Charter for Secondary Schools, High Schools, and Schools with Multiple Levels issued with Circular 32/2020/TT-BGDDT.

- Participation in activities to develop talents in specific subjects, sports, or the arts organized by the school if qualified.

- Receiving scholarships or other support according to policies for students under social policies, facing life difficulties, or possessing special talents.

- Transferring schools if they meet the requirements as specified; transfer procedures as per the regulations of the Minister of Education and Training.

- Exercising other rights as provided by law.
