Responsibilities of the Department of Education and Training

  1. Develop an admission plan submitted to the Provincial People's Committee for approval, including the following main contents: area, method, target, priority policies, and organization of upper secondary school admission.

For localities opting for an examination or a combination of examination and review methods, the additional contents required are:

a) Subjects, exam composition, exam format, duration, score weighting, and extra points;

b) Organization, duties and activities, authority and responsibility of the examination committee, invigilation committee, marking committee, and re-evaluation committee; examination composition, reproduction, and mailing of exam papers.
