- Educate citizens on national defense and security knowledge to foster patriotism, the tradition of building and defending the nation, pride, and national self-esteem.

- Enhance awareness, responsibility, and self-awareness in fulfilling defense and security duties.

- Protect the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
