Distinguished guests, judges, esteemed teachers, and all friends, I am very happy and proud to represent the class to present the significance of today's festive table. At the center of the table is a watermelon carved with the image of President Ho Chi Minh, surrounded by brightly colored cakes and fruits, showing our profound gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh, who brought independence and peace to Vietnam. Without President Ho Chi Minh, it would be difficult for us to have such a meaningful and joyful Mid-Autumn Festival as today. Additionally, the table also symbolizes a wish for a year of favorable weather, so that all people may live in warmth and happiness. Another highlight on the table is a five-petal flower carved from apples and peaches, symbolizing the five teachings of President Ho Chi Minh that we always remember and strive to follow. We promise to always adhere to President Ho Chi Minh's teachings and strive to live up to those valuable lessons. Through this table, we want to convey a message of unity and love among people, since we are all descendants of our beloved “old father.” This concludes my presentation. I wish the distinguished guests, judges, esteemed teachers, and all friends a warm and happy Mid-Autumn Festival! |
