What are the criteria for awarding the title of Advanced Labor in Vietnam?

According to the provisions in Clause 1, Article 24 of the 2022 Law on Emulation and Commendation, the criteria for awarding the title of Advanced Labor is as follows:

Titles of “Advanced Labor”, “Advanced Soldier”

1. The “Advanced Labor” title is to be awarded to officials and public employees, and workers who meet the following criteria:

a) Successfully complete their tasks or higher;

b) Have a spirit of self-reliance, unity, mutual support, and actively participate in competitive movements.

2. The “Advanced Soldier” title is to be awarded to military personnel, workers, officials, and public defense employees of the People's Army; permanent militia, mobile self-defense forces; officers, non-commissioned officers, soldiers, and workers working in agencies and units under the People's Police that meet the criteria prescribed in Clause 1 of this Article.

3. The “Advanced Labor” title is awarded to workers, farmers, and those not subject to Clauses 1 and 2 of this Article who meet the following criteria:

a) Work and produce efficiently, actively participate in competitive movements, and social activities;

b) Exemplify good adherence to the guidelines of the Communist Party, and policies and laws of the State; possess moral integrity, a healthy lifestyle, solidarity, mutual support, and assistance to everyone in the community.

What documents are included in the Dossier for awarding the Advanced Labor title for teachers in Vietnam?

According to the provisions in Clause 2, Article 24 of Decree 98/2023/ND-CP stipulating the dossier for proposing the award of the Advanced Labor title for teachers:

- A proposal letter for awarding the emulation title;

- Performance report of individuals, and collectives;

- Minutes of emulation evaluation by the Emulation - Commendation Council at the recommending level of commendation or Minutes of emulation evaluation and voting results by the Emulation - Commendation Council at the recommending level of commendation in case of proposing emulation titles such as “Advanced Base Soldier”, Advanced Ministry, Sector, Province Soldier, Ministry, Sector, Province Emulation Flag;

- Certification or confirmation by competent authorities for innovations or scientific topics, scientific projects, scientific and technological works, or excellently completing tasks or resourceful creativity in combat, and service of combat in the case of proposing the title “Advanced Base Soldier”;

- Certification or confirmation by the head of the ministry, sector, or province regarding innovations that have been effectively applied and have the potential to be replicated within the ministry, sector, or province or scientific topics, projects, scientific and technological works that have been recognized and effectively applied, with an impact within the ministry, sector, or province or resourcefulness, and creativity in combat, and service of combat with an impact throughout the entire army or the entire People's Police force in case of proposing the title Advanced Ministry, Sector, Province Soldier.
