What are purposes of the third-year pedagogical internship activity in Vietnam?

Based on Article 15 of the Regulations on Practice and Teaching Internship applicable to universities and colleges training general education and preschool teachers at the regular university level issued under Decision 36/2003/QD-BGDDT, the purposes of the third-year pedagogical internship activity as follows:

- Help pedagogical students enhance their awareness of the role of education in the industrialization and modernization of the country, grasp the regulations on the duties and powers of a teacher, thereby striving to become excellent teachers.

- Create conditions for pedagogical students to actively and creatively apply their learned knowledge and practice educational and teaching skills in the actual school environment, thereby forming pedagogical capacity.

- The result of the third-year teaching internship is one of the conditions for students to be recognized for graduation.

- Help teacher training institutions and educational management levels have a basis to evaluate the quality of teacher training, thereby proposing directions to improve training quality, utilization, and teacher development.

What are regulations on the evaluation scoring system for pedagogical students' internship activities in Vietnam?

Based on Article 5 of the Regulations on Practice and Teaching Internship applicable to universities and colleges training general education and preschool teachers at the regular university level issued under Decision 36/2003/QD-BGDDT, the evaluation scoring system for pedagogical students' internship activities is graded on a scale of 10 and classified as follows:

- Excellent grade: from 9 points to 10 points.

- Good grade: from 8 points to 8.9 points.

- Fair grade: from 7 points to 7.9 points.

- Above average grade: from 6 points to 6.9 points.

- Average grade: from 5 points to 5.9 points.

- Weak grade: from 4 points to 4.9 points.

- Poor grade: below 4 points.
