Based on Plan 541-KH/BTGTW of 2024, specific regulations on prizes for the "Vietnam People's Army: 80 Years of Construction, Combat, and Growth" Contest are as follows:

Each weekly contest includes the following prizes:
- 01 First Prize: 5,000,000 VND/prize;
- 02 Second Prizes: 3,000,000 VND/prize;
- 03 Third Prizes: 2,000,000 VND/prize;
- 10 Consolation Prizes: 500,000 VND/prize.
Based on the results of the competition and funding sources from private investment (if any), the Competition Organizing Committee will consider and decide on adjustments to the prize structure, prize amounts, and gifts accordingly.
Individuals winning competition prizes are awarded the prize money and gifts by the Organizing Committee.
The prize money is awarded directly at the Information Center for Propaganda Work, Propaganda Department of the Central Committee, No. 2B, Hoang Van Thu, Ba Dinh, Hanoi; or transferred to the bank account number of the winner (according to the personal information provided by the winner).
Within 14 days from the date results are announced on the Comprehensive Information Page of Reporter, if a prize winner does not provide and confirm their personal information with a representative of the Organizing Committee or refuses to accept the prize, the Organizing Committee will transfer the value of the prize into the state budget as per regulations.

Who are the students of the national defense and security education in Vietnam?
Based on the provisions of Article 11 of the Law on National Defense and Security Education 2013:
Upper secondary schools, professional intermediate schools, vocational intermediate schools
1. National defense and security education in Upper secondary schools, professional intermediate schools, and vocational intermediate schools is a core subject.
2. Ensure students have initial understanding of the national defense and security of the people; the tradition of fighting against invaders of the nation, the people's armed forces, and Vietnamese military art; basic, necessary knowledge of civil defense and military skills; ready to perform military obligations to defend the Fatherland.
3. Organize teaching and learning according to the program distribution. During the school year, based on specific conditions, cooperate with relevant agencies, organizations, and units to organize extracurricular learning for students with appropriate content and form.
Thus, according to the above regulations, the National Defense and Security Education subject is a core subject for upper secondary schools, professional intermediate schools, and vocational intermediate schools.
Are students in Vietnam required to attend military training?

1. National defense and security education at vocational colleges and higher education institutions is a core subject.
- Ensure learners have basic knowledge about the Communist Party's viewpoints, the state's policies and laws on defense and security; build a national defense of the people, national security, constructing a national defense linked with national security, developing the people's armed forces; supplement knowledge on civil defense and military skills; ready to perform military obligations to defend the Fatherland.
- Organize teaching and study concentrated at national defense and security education centers or vocational colleges, higher education institutions. In the training program, based on specific conditions, cooperate with relevant agencies, organizations, and units to organize extracurricular learning and research for learners with appropriate content and form.
