Step 1: Log in to the MOET system

Candidates access the website http://thisinh.thitotnghiepthpt.edu.vn/ to fill in the information including ID number, login code, and verification code, then press the login button.

Step 2: Check the admission results from the lookup menu

Candidates select the menu, then choose the function to check admission results.

Step 3: View the admission results

Each school in the candidate's wish list will have only one result, either Pass or Fail. The result will prioritize the first wishes of the candidate. If the candidate passes the first wish, it will show "Pass" at the first wish and "Fail" at all remaining wishes. If the first wish fails, the system will continue to assess the subsequent wishes.

Step 4: Confirm enrollment

Candidates who pass one of their wishes have the right to confirm enrollment. Click on the icon as shown below to perform the enrollment confirmation.

Step 5: Choose Agree to complete the enrollment confirmation

Candidates choose Agree to confirm enrollment. This means you will not be able to enroll at another school.

Step 6: Check the enrollment status

After confirming enrollment, if you see a notification in the status box indicating that you have enrolled, it means you have successfully confirmed enrollment, and the university has received the information from the candidate. Please note that candidates will not be able to cancel enrollment confirmation online and must contact the university for handling.

What are regulations on announcement and confirmation of enrollment of the results for successful candidates in Vietnam?

Based on Article 21 of the University and College Education Enrollment Regulations issued along with Circular 08/2022/TT-BGDDT, the notification of results and enrollment confirmation are as follows:

- The training institution sends an admission notice to successful candidates, specifying the necessary procedures for enrollment and the enrollment method.

- Candidates confirm enrollment online on the system before enrolling at the training institution.

- For candidates who do not confirm enrollment within the specified time:

+ If without a valid reason, it will be considered that the candidate has declined enrollment, and the training institution has the right not to accept them.

+ If due to illness or accident, with a certificate from a district or higher-level hospital, or due to a natural disaster, with a confirmation from the district or higher-level People’s Committee, the training institution will consider accepting the candidate or deferring the enrollment result for the candidate.

+ If due to mistakes or errors caused by the admission staff or the candidate, the training institution will actively cooperate with relevant organizations to review the evidence and decide whether to accept the candidate or defer the enrollment result.

- Candidates who have confirmed enrollment at one training institution are not allowed to apply for admission elsewhere or participate in supplemental admission rounds, except with the training institution’s permission.

How to register and enroll in supplemental university admissions in Vietnam?

The organization of registration and enrollment in supplemental admission rounds is specifically stipulated in Article 22 of the University and College Education Enrollment Regulations issued along with Circular 08/2022/TT-BGDDT as follows:

- Based on the enrollment quota and the number of successful candidates who have confirmed enrollment in the programs, the admission council of the training institution will consider and decide on the enrollment of supplemental admission rounds.

The training institution announces the admission plan, method of enrollment, and form of registration for supplemental rounds; conditions for admission to the programs by each enrollment method, which shall not be lower than the conditions of the previous round.

- Candidates who have not been admitted or have been admitted but have not confirmed enrollment anywhere can register for the supplemental rounds according to the training institution’s plan and guidance.

- At the end of each admission round, the training institution announces the admission scores (and any additional conditions or criteria, if any) on its website for the programs by each enrollment method; allows candidates to check their admission results; and sends admission notices and instructions to successful candidates for enrollment.
