What are the duties of grade 3 primary school teachers in Vietnam?

According to Clause 1, Article 3 Circular 02/2021/TT-BGDDT, the specific duties of a grade 3 primary school teacher include:

- Developing teaching plans and educating students; participating in the development of teaching plans and educating students in the professional group according to the goals and curriculum of primary education;

- Implementing the primary education curriculum and the school’s educational plan;

- Using teaching and education methods that develop students' qualities and competencies; participating in the identification and nurturing of gifted students; engaging in applied pedagogic research and making teaching tools and equipment for primary education;

- Completing all professional training and development courses as prescribed; self-study and training to improve political, professional, and vocational qualifications; participating in professional activities as required; contributing to universal education, compulsory education, and literacy eradication, as well as inclusive education;

- Cooperating with parents and social forces in educating students, providing counseling work for primary students;

e) Be capable of performing professional tasks: participating as a judge, inspector, or examiner; developing and implementing teaching topics;

g) Be capable of applying information technology in professional activities; be capable of using a foreign language or a minority language as required by the job position;

h) Be recognized as grassroots-level emulation fighters; or receive certificates of merit, commendations from district level or higher; or be recognized for achieving one of the following titles: excellent teacher, excellent class teacher at the school level or higher, excellent Young Pioneer Team teacher at the district level or higher;

i) To sit for or be considered for promotion to the professional title of Grade 2 primary school teacher (code V.07.03.28), a candidate must have held the professional title of Grade 3 primary school teacher(code V.07.03.29) or equivalent for at least 09 (nine) years, excluding probationary time, as of the deadline for application submission for the examination or promotion consideration.
