- Ensure a ratio of 1 classroom per class, facilities, and student numbers per class according to the elementary school regulations; have adequate minimum teaching equipment as stipulated; ensure a ratio of 1.5 teachers per class and the teacher structure to teach all subjects, educational activities, and organize 2 sessions per day as required.
- Implement teaching of compulsory subjects and educational activities, elective subjects according to the primary school General Education Program; organize activities to strengthen student completion of learning content, educational activities catering to students' needs, interests, and talents; activities exploring nature, society, culture, history, and local traditions.
- Organize teaching for 2 sessions per day, with no more than 7 lessons each day, each lesson lasting 35 minutes; implement a minimum teaching plan of 9 sessions per week with 32 lessons per week; ensure the education plan appropriately allocates educational content, helping students complete learning tasks and meet the program's requirements.
Facilitate students in studying elective subjects and participating in educational activities to achieve comprehensive education goals in primary school; timetables should be scientifically arranged, ensuring a reasonable balance between teaching content and educational activities, appropriately distributing time throughout the school day and week according to the psychological and physical characteristics of primary school students.
- For primary schools that do not have the conditions to organize 2 sessions per day, based on teaching correct and sufficient content and time for compulsory subjects as prescribed, the primary school should proactively determine content, choose organizational forms, and appropriately allocate time for elective subjects when conditions are met, as well as consolidation activities and other educational activities.
- Develop a plan to organize day-boarding activities suitable to actual conditions, with the agreement and voluntary participation of students and parents, and in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
Day-boarding activities should be organized from after the morning session to before the afternoon session starts, contributing to training students in life skills, necessary competences, attributes, discipline, self-service, responsibility, sharing, and love;
Day-boarding activities should be flexible and could include activities like organizing lunch, nap, play, and entertainment for students; organizing lunch and day-boarding must meet safety and food hygiene regulations, ensuring nutrition and student health.
- Organize activities for students outside of official school hours based on their needs and interests from after official school hours until they are picked up by their parents.
Based on students' needs and interests, activities can be organized in the form of club activities or using school facilities (library, playground, multi-purpose room...) to facilitate students' play and entertainment; club activities outside of official school hours need to be approved by competent authorities.
