SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) are a set of 17 global goals introduced by the United Nations in 2015, aimed at addressing the world's most significant challenges, such as poverty, inequality, climate change, and the protection of natural resources. These goals are part of the 2030 Agenda, with a completion target by 2030.
17 SDGs:
[1] No poverty: Ensure no one lives in extreme poverty.
[2] Zero hunger: End hunger, achieve food security, and promote sustainable agriculture.

[4] Quality education: Ensure inclusive, equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.

[16] Peace, justice, and strong institutions: Promote peaceful, inclusive societies and build effective, accountable, and inclusive institutions.
[17] Partnerships for the goals: Strengthen global partnerships to achieve sustainable development goals.
SDGs are designed to create fair, inclusive, and harmonious development among economic, social, and environmental aspects. They serve as guiding principles for governments, businesses, and societies worldwide towards a sustainable future.
Quality education in SDGs is about providing quality education to all as the foundation for a peaceful and prosperous world. Education gives individuals the knowledge and skills needed to maintain health, find employment, and foster tolerance. However, the outbreak of COVID-19 has triggered a global education crisis.
The goal by 2030 is to ensure all girls and boys complete free, equitable, and quality primary and secondary education leading to relevant and effective learning outcomes. There is a need to eliminate gender disparities in education and ensure equal access for all, especially vulnerable groups, persons with disabilities, and significantly increase the number of youth and adults who have relevant skills, including technical and vocational skills for employment, decent jobs, and entrepreneurship.
