During the process of innovating education and training, it is necessary to inherit and promote achievements, develop new factors, selectively absorb global experiences, and decisively correct misconceptions and wrongful practices.
The innovation must ensure systematism, long-term vision, suitability for different types of subjects and educational levels; solutions must be synchronized, feasible, focused, and have appropriate steps and timelines.

What are the objectives for a comprehensive and fundamental innovation in education and training by 2030 in Vietnam?
Based on Subsection 2.1, Section B of Resolution 29-NQ/TW in 2013, the specific objectives are as follows:
Objectives
1- General objectives
Create a fundamental and significant shift in the quality and effectiveness of education and training; better meet the requirements of national construction and defense and the people's learning needs. Educate Vietnamese people to develop comprehensively and bring out the best in their potential, and creativity; foster love for family, country, and compatriots; live well and work effectively.
Build an open, practical, substantial educational system for learning and working, good teaching, good learning, and good management; with a reasonable structure and education method linked to building a learning society; ensure conditions for quality improvement; standardize, modernize, democratize, and integrate international education and training systems; maintain socialist orientation and national identity. Strive to make Vietnam's education system reach an advanced level in the region by 2030.

What are solutions to enhance the leadership of the Vietnam Communist Party and the management of the State for innovating education and training?
Based on Subsection 2.1, Section B of Resolution 29-NQ/TW in 2013, the tasks and solutions to enhance the leadership of the Vietnam Communist Party and the management of the State for renewing education and training are as follows:
- Deeply understand and concretize the viewpoints, objectives, tasks, and solutions for a comprehensive and fundamental innovation in education and training in the political system, the education and training sector, and the entire society, creating high consensus that education and training is the top national policy.
- Raise awareness of the decisive role of educators and educational administrators' quality in education and training; learners are the central subjects of the educational process; families have a responsibility to cooperate with schools and society in educating the character and lifestyle of their children.
Renew the work of information and communication to unify perception, create consensus, and mobilize the society's evaluation, supervision, and feedback in the renewal and development of education.
- Emphasize developing the Party, political, and ideological work in schools, especially among teachers. Ensure that schools have a Party cell; universities have a Party committee.
- The Party committees in education and training institutions must lead renewal, exemplary implementation, and be responsible to the Communist Party and the people for achieving the goals and tasks of education and training. School leadership should promote democracy, rely on teachers, public employees, and students, leverage the role of unions and local communities in building the school.
- Ministries, central authorities, and local authorities should develop long-term human resource development plans, forecast the quantity, quality, and structure of workforce demand. Based on this, order and cooperate with educational and training institutions to implement.
- Leverage the combined strength of the political system to resolve ongoing negative phenomena in the education and training sector that cause social frustration.
