e) Hung Kings Commemoration Day: 1 day (March 10 of the lunar calendar).
2. Foreign employees working in Vietnam besides the holidays prescribed in Clause 1 of this Article are also entitled to one additional day of the traditional New Year of their country and one day of their national day.
3. Annually, based on practical conditions, the Prime Minister of Vietnam decides on specific holidays at points b and đ of Clause 1 of this Article.

7. Other national examinations are organized according to the regulations and guidance of the Ministry of Education and Training.

The general education program is divided into two phases:
The fundamental education phase (from grade 1 to grade 9) and the vocational orientation education phase (from grade 10 to grade 12).
The curriculum and educational activities of the general education program include mandatory subjects, elective subjects according to vocational orientation (referred to as elective subjects), and optional subjects.
The actual study time in one academic year is equivalent to 35 weeks. Educational institutions may organize teaching sessions of 1 or 2 sessions per day.
Educational institutions organizing 1 or 2 sessions per day must implement a unified mandatory educational content across all educational institutions nationwide.
(1). Fundamental Education Phase
- Primary Level
Teaching is conducted in 2 sessions per day, with no more than 7 periods per day; each period lasts 35 minutes. Educational institutions not fully equipped to conduct 2 sessions per day follow the educational plan guided by the Ministry of Education and Training.
- Lower Secondary Level
One session per day, with no more than 5 periods per session; each period lasts 45 minutes. Schools with adequate facilities for 2 sessions per day are encouraged to implement this model according to the guidance of the Ministry of Education and Training.
