What are the enrollment procedures for university in 2024 in Vietnam?
Based on Article 21 of the Regulations on university admissions and preschool education college admissions issued with Circular 08/2022/TT-BGDDT, which stipulates the notification of results and admissions confirmation, the enrollment procedures for university are as follows:
Step 1: The educational institution sends an admission notice to admitted candidates, specifying the necessary procedures for enrolling students and the method of enrollment.
Step 2: Candidates confirm their enrollment online before officially enrolling at the educational institution.
For candidates who do not confirm their enrollment within the stipulated timeframe:
+ If there is no valid reason, it is considered a refusal to enroll, and the educational institution has the right to refuse admission;
+ If due to illness or accident, with a certification from a district or higher hospital, or due to natural disasters with certification from a district or higher People's Committee, the educational institution may consider accepting the candidate for admission or deferring the admission results for future enrollment;
+ If due to administrative errors or candidate errors, the educational institution should actively cooperate with relevant individuals or organizations to review the evidence and determine whether to accept the candidate for admission or defer the admission results for future enrollment.
What are the health examination documents for university students in Vietnam?
Based on the provisions of Article 34 of Circular 32/2023/TT-BYT, the health examination documents are as follows:
Health Examination Documents
1. The health examination file for individuals aged 18 years or older consists of a health certificate as per Form No. 01 of Appendix XXIV issued with this Circular, with a portrait photo measuring 04cm x 06cm, taken on a white background not more than 6 months from the date of submission of the health examination documents.
2. The health examination file for individuals under 18 years consists of a health certificate as per Form No. 02 of Appendix XXIV issued with this Circular, with a portrait photo measuring 04cm x 06cm, taken on a white background not more than 6 months from the date of submission of the health examination documents.
3. For individuals with incapacitated or restricted civil capacity requesting a health examination not pertaining to periodic health check-ups, the health examination file includes:
a) Health certificate as stipulated in clauses 1 or 2 of this Article;
b) Written consent from the patient’s relative as stipulated in clause 11 of Article 2 of the Law on Medical Examination and Treatment.
4. For individuals undergoing periodic health examinations, the health examination file includes:
a) Periodic health examination book as per Form No. 03 of Appendix XXIV issued with this Circular;
b) An introduction letter from the employer or organization for individual periodic health examinations or inclusion in the list of periodic health examinations verified by the employer or organization to undergo periodic health examinations as per the contract.

Health Examination Procedures
1. Individuals visiting for a health examination submit the required documents to the health examination facility.
2. Upon receiving the health examination documents, the health examination facility performs the following:
a) Compare the photo in the health examination documents with the individual arriving for the examination;
b) Seal the photo after verification according to point a of this clause for cases specified in clauses 1, 2, and 3 of Article 37 of this Circular;
c) Verify the valid personal documents of the patient’s relative for cases specified in clause 3 of Article 37 of this Circular;
d) Guide the health examination process of the unit to the individual being examined or their guardian (if present);
e) Develop, issue, and implement the health examination procedures;
f) Provide results and retain the health examination documents.
According to the above regulations, the health examination procedures for university students are as follows:
Step 1: Submit the health examination documents at a health examination facility.
Step 2: Upon receiving the health examination documents, the facility performs the following tasks:
- Compare the photo in the health examination documents with the individual arriving for the examination;
- Seal the photo after verification;
