The provincial People's Committee shall submit to the provincial People's Council to decide the specific tuition fee level but not exceed the prescribed ceiling.
The provincial People's Council will regulate the specific annual tuition fee suitable to the practical situation of each locality as stipulated in Article 9 of Decree 81/2021/ND-CP.
Recently, the People's Council of Da Nang City issued Resolution 49/2024/NQ-HDND stipulating the tuition fees for preschool and public general education from the academic year 2024-2025 in Da Nang City.

The Ministry of Education and Training issued Decision 2045/QD-BGDDT in 2024 on the time frame for the academic year 2024-2025 for preschool, general education, and continuing education nationwide.
Article 1 of Decision 2045/QD-BGDDT in 2024 stipulates as follows:
Issuing the time frame plan for the academic year 2024-2025 for preschool, general education, and continuing education nationwide as follows:
1. The earliest school year commencement is no more than 1 week before the opening ceremony. For Grade 1, the earliest school year commencement is no more than 2 weeks before the opening ceremony.
2. The opening ceremony will be held on September 5, 2024.
3. End of the first semester before January 18, 2025, complete the curriculum and finish the school year before May 31, 2025.
4. Review and recognize the completion of primary education and the graduation of junior secondary education before June 30, 2025.
5. Complete the enrollment for the first grades before July 31, 2025.
6. The high school graduation exam in 2025 is expected to take place on June 26 and June 27, 2025.
7. Other national examinations are held according to the regulations and guidelines of the Ministry of Education and Training.
The school reopening schedule for 2024 for students in all grades in Da Nang is expected as follows:
Grade 1: Earliest on August 22, 2024
Grades 2 and 3: Earliest on August 29, 2024
