What are the standards for teachers at computer training centers in Vietnam?
Based on Article 18 of the Regulations on the Organization and Operation of Foreign Language and Computer Training Centers issued with Circular 21/2018/TT-BGDDT, the standards for teachers at computer training centers are as follows:
- Vietnamese teachers are qualified to teach computer science if they meet one of the following standards:
+ Have an associate degree in computer science education or higher;
+ Have an associate degree in computer science or higher and a teaching certificate.
- Vietnamese teachers are qualified to teach foreign languages if they meet one of the following standards:
+ Have an associate degree in foreign language education or higher;
+ Have an associate degree in foreign languages or higher and a teaching certificate.
- Foreign teachers teaching computer science must have an associate degree in computer science or higher and a suitable computer science teaching certificate.
- Native speakers teaching foreign languages (for specific languages) must have an associate degree or higher and a suitable foreign language teaching certificate.
- Foreign teachers are qualified to teach foreign languages if they meet one of the following standards:
+ Have an associate degree in foreign language education or higher;
+ Have an associate degree in foreign languages or higher and a suitable foreign language teaching certificate;
+ Have an associate degree or higher, a language proficiency certificate of level 5 or higher according to Vietnam's 6-level language proficiency framework or equivalent, and a suitable foreign language teaching certificate.

What are the duties and rights of teachers at computer training centers in Vietnam?
Based on Article 19 of the Regulations on the Organization and Operation of Foreign Language and Computer Training Centers issued with Circular 21/2018/TT-BGDDT, the duties and rights of teachers are as follows:
Duties and Rights of Teachers
- Teach according to the objectives, content, educational program, and teaching plan; attend classes fully and on time; manage students in activities organized by the center; participate in the center's professional activities.
- Implement the decisions of the director; undergo inspections by the director and educational management levels according to regulations; comply with the center's rules and the regulations of this Regulation.
- Comply with the Code of Ethics for Teachers as regulated by the Ministry of Education and Training.
- Be entitled to attend training and professional development classes to enhance their qualifications; enjoy all material, spiritual benefits, and health care according to policies for teachers; actively and proactively self-improve their professional and technical skills.
- Be facilitated by the center to perform their duties and participate in center management; attend meetings on emulation, reward, discipline, and resolve issues related to students under their responsibility.
Thus, the duties and rights of teachers at computer training centers are as follows:

Rewards
- Foreign language and computer training centers and units belonging to the centers that perform well in accordance with these Regulations, significantly contributing to the development and enhancement of the quality of foreign language and computer science training activities will be rewarded according to laws.
2. Teachers, staff, and employees of foreign language and computer training centers who achieve outstanding performance will be rewarded and conferred emulation titles and other titles according to laws.
- Students of foreign language and computer training centers who achieve outstanding performance in study and training will be rewarded by the center and management levels according to laws.
Thus, teachers at computer training centers will be rewarded when they achieve outstanding performance.
