On July 22, 2024, the Vietnam Academy of Traditional Medicine issued Announcement No. 2718/TB-HVYDCT of 2024 regarding the minimum admission scores for the first phase of enrollment for full-time undergraduate programs for 2024.
The minimum admission scores for the Vietnam Academy of Traditional Medicine for 2024 (the threshold to ensure quality in case of admission by the 2024 high school graduation exam results) for the first phase of enrollment for full-time undergraduate programs are as follows:
Thus, the minimum admission scores for the Vietnam Academy of Traditional Medicine for 2024 are 21 points for the traditional medicine and pharmacy programs; and 22.50 points for the medical program.
Note: The minimum admission scores for the Vietnam Academy of Traditional Medicine for 2024 require no score in the selection combination to be 1.0 or lower.

In Vietnam, what is the deadline for adjusting aspirations used for admission to full-time undergraduate programs in 2024?
Under Subsection 7 of Section 1 in Official Dispatch 1957/BGDDT-GDDH 2024 guiding enrollment for full-time undergraduate and college programs for Early Childhood Education:
Registration and processing of aspirations:
a) From July 18 to 5:00 PM, July 30, 2024, candidates register, adjust, and supplement their aspirations used for admission without any limit on the number of times:
- Candidates use the provided account to process information (enter, view, edit) their information on the System;
- Registration for the aspirations for majors/programs must be done online on the System or on the National Public Service Portal (Detailed instructions will be posted on the System or National Public Service Portal);
- Candidates' aspirations are registered for all training institutions by the major/program and are listed in order from 1 to the end (aspiration 1 is the highest aspiration), and candidates must provide the data (according to the criteria, conditions, and registration process specified in the Enrollment Scheme of the training institutions) corresponding to the major/program that the candidate has registered for the training institutions to use for admission (Detailed registration steps are posted on the System when candidates access it for registration);
- All of a candidate's aspirations for admission into training institutions are processed on the System and each candidate is admitted to only one highest aspiration among the registered aspirations when they meet the matriculation conditions;
- Candidates who have completed enrollmernt registration under the early admission plan of the training institutions, if they meet the matriculation conditions (excluding the condition of high school graduation), must continue to register their aspirations on the System to be considered for admission according to the regulations.
Under the above regulations, candidates can adjust their aspirations used for admission to full-time undergraduate programs from July 18 to 17:00 on July 30, 2024.
Who is eligible for direct admission to full-time undergraduate programs in Vietnam?
Under Article 8 of the Regulation on enrollment for full-time undergraduate and college programs for Early Childhood Education promulgated with Circular No. 08/2022/TT-BGDDT, those eligible for direct admission to full-time undergraduate programs include:
- Labor Heroes, Heroes of the People's Armed Forces, and National Emulation Fighters are eligible for direct admission into the programs specified by the universities;
- Individuals with high achievements in national or international exams, contests, or tournaments organized or nominated by the Ministry of Education and Training, the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism are eligible for direct admission in the year of high school graduation (or post-secondary graduation) into programs suitable to the exam subjects, contest topics, or the profession of the competition or winning; specifically in the following cases:
+ Candidates who win first, second, or third prizes in national, international competitions for excellent students or national, international scientific and technical contests organized or nominated by the Ministry of Education and Training; the winning time must not exceed 3 years from the time of direct admission consideration;
+ Candidates who win official prizes in international art contests for singing, dancing, music, and fine arts recognized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism; the winning time must not exceed 4 years from the time of direct admission consideration;
+ Candidates who are members of the national team competing in official international tournaments recognized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism as having completed their tasks, including World Championships, World Cups, Olympic Games, Asian Games (ASIAD), Asian Championships, Asian Cups, Southeast Asian Championships, Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games), Southeast Asian Cups; the winning time must not exceed 4 years from the time of direct admission consideration;
+ Candidates who win first, second, or third prizes in ASEAN and international skilled competitions nominated by the Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs; the winning time must not exceed 3 years from the time of direct admission consideration.
Who is eligible to apply for enrollment for full-time undergraduate programs in Vietnam?
Under Clause 1, Article 5 of the Regulation on enrollment for full-time undergraduate and college programs for Early Childhood Education promulgated with Circular No. 08/2022/TT-BGDDT those eligible for enrollment for full-time undergraduate programs are determined at the time of the admission (before the official admission results are announced), including:
- Individuals who have been recognized as having graduated from a Vietnamese upper secondary school or who have a graduation certificate from abroad recognized as equivalent;
- Individuals who have a vocational intermediate graduation certificate in the same group of disciplines applied for and have completed the full requirements for upper secondary cultural knowledge as prescribed by law.
