No insulting, causing harm, or exploitation; no repression, prejudice, abuse, harassment; no indifference, avoidance, or concealing the learner's violations.
- Conduct towards management staff: Respectful, honest, open-minded language, positively advising and clearly expressing opinions; complying with the direction, administration, and assignment of leaders according to regulations. No insulting, causing disunity; no indifference, avoidance, or concealing the management staff's violations.
- Conduct towards colleagues and staff: Proper, honest, friendly language, open-mindedness, sharing, supporting; respecting differences; protecting the reputation, honor, and dignity of colleagues and staff. No insulting, indifference, causing disunity.
- Conduct towards parents of learners: Proper, honest, respectful, friendly language, cooperation, sharing. No insulting, imposing, exploitation.
- Conduct towards visitors to the educational institution: Proper, respectful language. No insulting, causing inconvenience, trouble.

- To adjust the conduct of members within the educational institution according to social ethical standards and national customs, suitable with the local culture and practical conditions of the educational institution;
- To promptly and effectively prevent and handle negative and non-educational behaviors within the educational institution.
- To build school culture; ensure a safe, healthy, friendly educational environment and prevent school violence.
What are the fines for teachers using inappropriate language towards students in Vietnam?
Based on Article 28 of Decree 04/2021/ND-CP regulating violations related to disciplining learners; insulting honor, dignity, infringing upon the body of learners; violations concerning policies regarding learners:
Violations Related to Disciplining Learners; Insulting Honor, Dignity, Infringing upon the Body of Learners; Violations Regarding Policies Towards Learners
- A fine from 5,000,000 VND to 10,000,000 VND for any of the following acts:
a) Disciplining learners not in accordance with current legal regulations;
b) Insulting honor, dignity, infringing upon the body of learners but not to the extent of criminal liability.
- A fine from 10,000,000 VND to 15,000,000 VND for violations regarding policies towards learners.
- Measures for remedying consequences:
a) Forced to annul the disciplinary decision and restore the learner's right to education for violations as specified at point a, clause 1 of this Article;
b) Forced to publicly apologize to the individual whose honor, dignity was insulted; body was infringed upon for violations as specified at point b, clause 1 of this Article, except in cases where the individual whose honor, dignity was insulted; body was infringed upon or their legal representative is a minor requests not to make a public apology.
Thus, teachers using inappropriate language towards students may face a fine ranging from 5,000,000 VND to 10,000,000 VND.
Additionally, teachers may be forced to publicly apologize to the person whose honor, dignity was insulted, except in cases where the individual or their legal representative requests not to make a public apology.
