The general education program is implemented according to the following schedule:
1. From the school year 2020-2021 for grade 1.

In grades 6 and 7: Students can identify the theme, understand the subject, meaning of the read text; recognize folklore stories, short stories, lyrical and narrative poetry; lyrical and narrative memoirs; recognize the lyrical and narrative subject, emotional and cognitive values of literary works; identify and analyze the effects of some formal elements and artistic techniques associated with the characteristics of each literary genre (plot, narrators, characters' dialogues, space and time, rhyme, rhythm, images, and rhetorical measures such as metaphor, metonymy, hyperbole, understatement).
In grades 8 and 9: Students can understand the messages, ideas, feelings, and attitudes of the author in the text; recognize literary scripts, novels, and Nom poems, regulated and free verse, tragedies, and comedies; content and form of literary works, literary images; identify and analyze the effects of some formal elements and artistic techniques of each literary genre (combination of narrator’s and character's dialogues, viewpoint, conflict, poetic structure, words, sequence of lyrical emotions; rhetorical measures such as repetition, wordplay, irony, oxymoron).
