Deferring admission results
1. Candidates with an admission notice may defer their admission results in the following cases:
a) Participating in military service or young volunteer work immediately in the year of admission, based on the decision or order of the competent authority;
b) Suffering from a severe illness or serious accident that prevents timely admission, with medical records and confirmation from a competent medical authority.
2. Candidates under the provisions of clause 1 should send a deferment application along with proof documents to the admitting institution. The maximum deferral period is determined by the admitting institution but shall not be less than 3 years for those subject to point a, clause 1 of this Article.
3. Once eligible to return to study, the candidate with deferred admission results must complete the admission procedures as per the admitting institution's regulations, including proof of having completed the military service or having recovered from the illness. For cases under clause 1 with a deferral period of 3 years or more, the admitting institution may consider introducing the candidate to pre-university courses before official enrollment.
