What are regulations on uniforms for physical education teachers in Vietnam for the 2024-2025 academic year?

Pursuant to Article 4 Decision 51/2012/QD-TTg, uniform policies as follows:

Uniform Policy

1. For physical education and sports teachers and lecturers specializing in teaching physical education and sports, they shall be provided with 02 sets of long-sleeved sportswear/year, 02 pairs of sports shoes/year, 04 pairs of sports socks/year, and 04 short-sleeved sports shirts/year.

2. For teachers and lecturers who teach multiple subjects (teachers who teach other subjects and additionally teach physical education and sports), they shall be provided with 01 set of long-sleeved sportswear/year, 01 pair of sports shoes/year, 02 pairs of sports socks/year, and 02 short-sleeved sports shirts/year.

Sportswear must be produced in Vietnam and suitable for the climate of each region.

The uniform policies for physical education teachers for the school year 2024-2025 are as follows:

- Physical education and sports teachers specializing in teaching physical education and sports shall be provided with 02 sets of long-sleeved sportswear/year, 02 pairs of sports shoes/year, 04 pairs of sports socks/year, and 04 short-sleeved sports shirts/year.

- Teachers who teach multiple subjects shall be provided with 01 set of long-sleeved sportswear/year, 01 pair of sports shoes/year, 02 pairs of sports socks/year, and 02 short-sleeved sports shirts/year.

What are funding sources for uniform policies of physical education teachers in Vietnam?

Pursuant to Article 5 Decision 51/2012/QD-TTg, the funding sources for uniform policies of physical education teachers are as follows:

- For educational institutions fully funded by the state budget: The funding is ensured by the state budget and included in the annual budget estimates of the educational institution as per current state budget management regulations;

- For educational institutions partially self-funded: The funding is ensured from the institution's revenue sources and regular operating budget provided by the state as per current state budget management regulations;

- For private educational institutions: The funding is based on legal revenues to apply the stipulated uniform and training policies in this Decision.

- Implementation method:

+ The training allowance shall be paid along with the monthly salary payment;

+ uniform shall be provided once a year at the beginning of the school year.

What are rights and obligations of physical education teachers in Vietnam?

Pursuant to Clause 2 Article 6 Circular 48/2020/TT-BGDDT, the rights and obligations of physical education teachers are as follows:

- Being trained, fostered, and improved in professional knowledge, methods, organizational forms, and skills in school sports activities.

- Being facilitated to participate in coaching for the school's student teams.

- Enjoying the rights and policies of teachers, lecturers, and other policies in the field of physical education and sports as per current regulations.

What are duties of physical education teachers in vietnam?

Pursuant to Clause 1 Article 6 Circular 48/2020/TT-BGDDT the duties of physical education teachers are as follows:

- Advising school leadership on diversifying the forms of sports activities; being the core in organizing sports activities; managing, directing, and guiding the establishment of sports clubs, and maintaining the development of sports movements within the school.

- Based on the needs of learners and the actual conditions of the school, actively advising on mobilizing the resources of the school's physical education teachers and lecturers and inviting external instructors to participate in specialized guidance to effectively organize sports activities.

- Identifying and fostering students with sports talents to participate in sports competitions at the local, national, and international levels; proposing specific solutions to help students with weak physical fitness who do not meet the Physical Education program requirements or safety standards; students with congenital diseases shall be exempted or participate in training with appropriate content and form.

- Executing other duties of educators as per current regulations.
