- History is a subject in the Social Sciences group, chosen according to career-oriented direction at the high school level.

- The mission of History is to help students develop historical competence, a component of scientific competence, while contributing to shaping and developing primary qualities and general competencies identified in the overall program.

- History plays a crucial role in educating patriotism, national pride, historical traditions, and cultural heritage, helping students comprehend and apply historical lessons to address contemporary life issues, broaden horizons, and reinforce human values, community spirit, tolerance, and compassion.
