- The teaching quota for teachers at ethnic boarding schools is 17 periods at the lower secondary level, 15 periods at the upper secondary level;
The teaching quota for teachers at ethnic semi-boarding schools is 21 periods at primary level, 17 periods at lower secondary level;

The teaching quota for teachers at schools and classes for disabled students is 21 periods for primary level teachers, 17 periods for lower secondary level teachers.
- Teachers serving as the Chief of Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organization at a first-rank school teach 2 periods a week, at a second-rank school teach 1/3 of the teaching quota, at a third-rank school teach 1/2 of the teaching quota of teachers of the same educational level.
