WRITING
WRITING TECHNIQUES
- Write lowercase letters fluently, write capital letters correctly.
- Capitalize the first letter of a sentence, write the correct names of people and common geographical names in the locality.
- Listening and writing accurately about 50-55 words of poetry or prose at a speed of about 50-55 words in 15 minutes. Write correctly some words easily mistaken due to local pronunciation characteristics.
- Present the written work neatly and conformably.
WRITING SHORT PARAGRAPHS
Writing process
- Identify the content by answering the question: "What to write about?”; draft; with the teacher's support, correct punctuation, capitalization, and wording errors.
Practice writing
- Write 4-5 sentences recounting an event witnessed or participated in based on suggestions.
- Write 4-5 sentences describing a familiar, close object based on suggestions.
- Write 4-5 sentences expressing feelings about a relative or event based on suggestions.
- Write 4-5 sentences introducing a familiar object based on suggestions.
